Day 16 – Time to relax

After nearly 1500 km and 16 days of biking I decided to continue my Cambodian exploration in the south where I will have my deserved relax.

So here I am in Kampot, a pretty small city at the extreme south of Cambodia. I decided to spend a couple of days in a nice hostel located right in front of a beautiful river and this is the view I see in the morning from my room.

I left my motorbike in Phnom Penh to take a bike which I used today to explore the surroundings of the city.

Here it is a little village along the river populated by a muslim community.

I spent the afternoon cyclying around, playing with kids and eating local food.

I could explore the side of the river till this little house as after that there was no bridge to cross the river.

In going back home this was the beautiful sunset that came me along.
