Eccomi qui, dopo un breve riposino mi sono diretto verso il centro di Bagan, a detta di altri viaggiatori che ho incontrato pare questo sia uno dei posti più suggestivi e quindi visitati della Birmania.
Here I am, after a short nap I I went towards the centre of Bagan, according to other travellers I met this is one of the most interesting and hence most visited places in Myanmar.
Arrivato a Bagan, ho fermato uno dei ragazzini locali che vendono dipinti a sabbia e mi sono fatto accompagnare nei due tre templi con la vista migliore.. qui ci sono non so quante centinaia di templi.. quindi ho deciso di visitarne uno o due e poi sedermi a godermi il tramonto.
Once I arrived in Bagan, I stopped one of the local kids selling sand paintings and asked him to take me to the two or three temples with the best view…Here there are hundreds of temples…So I decided to visit one or two and then to sit and enjoy the sunset.
La vista è molto bella ma la cosa migliore per me è stato incontrare un ragazzo locale sopra uno dei templi che mi ha raccontato un po la storia del posto ma soprattutto come il turismo si stia evolvendo in tutta la regione, con conseguente aumento dei prezzi della terra.
The view is very beautiful but the best thing for me was meeting a local guy who told me something about the history of this place, but especially about the way in which tourism is developing in the whole region, causing a rise in the price of land.
Tra una chiacchiera e l’altra è arrivato il tramonto, qualche foto e poi mi sono messo a fare una delle cose che mi piace di più in questi posti., gironzolare di notte per i templi, è silenziosissimo, non ci sono altre persone tantomeno custodi e quindi si puo curiosare tranquillamente ovunque.
While we were chatting, sunset came, I took some pictures and I started doing one of the things I love doing in these places: wandering through the temples at nighttime: it is very quiet, there is no one, no guardians, and so you can look everywhere easily.
Sulla via del ritorno mi sono fermato a mangiare vicino a questo altro tempietto super illuminato. Buonanotte!
On the way back I stopped to eat something close to this small temple full of light. Goodnight!
